Bird work 3

  1. Hi Brooklyn, you have a great knowledge of native birds! I'm really happy that you went our and did some bird watching. You will be able to name the birds you see when you're out riding your bike. I would like to go to Sulphur Bay and see where the gulls live. I wonder if they really so hop around because the sulphur gives them sore feet?

  2. Ka pai Brooklyn! Great work! I see you have been busy counting birds! I am interested in whether any of the birds you saw were native, or were they introduced species? Do you think DOC is doing a good job looking after the gulls at Sulphur Bay? I would like to visit the reserve too!

  3. Hi Brooklyn,
What an amazing job you have done with your bird project, aren't we lucky to have such beautiful and colourful native birds. We have a Kowhai tree at our place and sometimes we see Tui's in the tree. You must be enjoying your learning from home, well done Brooklyn.
