math morning.

Today we were playing some fun maths games.
The first maths game I played was bowl a fact.
It is were you roll some dice and you have to try and make a equation and what it equals is the number you rub out. it was very fun!

Next we played shake and roll.
Shake and roll is where you have a sheet and you roll some dice and what ever you get you rub the number out on your sheet.

I had a fun time playing all the maths games! 

Horuhopu

Today we were playing Horu hopu.
Horu hopu is a maori game.
It is were you need to chuck a poi.

first we learned how to through and catch. It was kind of tricky.

Then we split in to two groups and started playing.

While we were playing our team scored a point!

I was so happy that our team won!

Freeze frames

Today we were going to do freeze frames.

First we had to get in to our groups.

Then we had to come up with a idea for our freeze frames.

Once we were all done we had to present our freeze frames.

Everyone did very well I liked all of them.My god was the god of the wind

Creating gods

On Wednesday we were going to make all the gods in our world. We started by writing all the thing that described one of the gods. After that we created the look of our gods and then presented them to the class. I had a fun time making the gods.

On Tuesday evening after school it was time to show our parents our learning maps.
When we got to school my parents came into my class room and looked at my learning map.
I explained who helps me in my learning, what helps me in my learning, and places that help me in my learning. It was a great and fun night especially the sausage sizzle.

chuck the chicken

last week we played a game called chuck the chicken
this is how you play.
 1 you get a ball or a rubber chicken
2  you split in to two teams
3 first team throws the chicken and the other team goes over and under with the chicken
4 while that team is going over and under the team who threw the chicken has to get in a circle and someone has to run around in till the other team is done going over and under.
